NOTICE TO BIDDERS City of Kokomo, Indiana Owner: Kokomo Community Development Corporation Project/Work: Removal of Unsafe Structure(s) in the City of Kokomo Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Kokomo will receive sealed bids for the above described Project/Work at the City Controller's Office located on the Third Floor of the City Building, 100 South Union Street, Kokomo, IN 46901 until 10:00 AM (EST) on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 and commencing as soon as practicable thereafter on the same date such bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in Council Chambers, located on the First Floor of the City Building. No late bids will be accepted. All vendors must be licensed to perform demolition work in Howard County, Indiana. A Bid Bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each Bid. A one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond will also be required of the successful Bidder. All Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference for discussion of the Work, and the bidding requirements.
