NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids for the 2016 Pavement Maintenance Project will be received at The Brownsburg Community School Corporation, F.L. O'Neal Administration Center, 310 Stadium Drive, Brownsburg, Indiana, 46112. Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. EST (Local Time), Wednesday, May 5, 2016, and will be opened at that time and read publically in the Board Room, enter door 7. The material purchased and installed under this bid shall be awarded under one Unified Contract, and includes asphalt repair, crackfill, sealcoating and restriping of parking areas and drives at 310 Stadium Dr.; Brownsburg High School; Eagle Elementary; Varsity Baseball & Softball; Vehicle Maintenance & Maintenance Facilities; Harris; West Middle School; White Lick Elementary; Cardinal & Delaware Trail Elementary Schools; and East Middle School, all located in Brownsburg, Indiana, as described within the attached Request For Bids. The Bid documents are available for download at: http://www.brownsburg.k12.in.us/about-us/construction-a-bids Bids shall be submitted on forms provided in the Bid Document. Each Bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope plainly labeled to indicate the following: Addressed to: The Brownsburg Community School Corporation F.L. O'Neal Administration Building, Entry 7 310 Stadium Drive, Brownsburg, Indiana, 46112 Attn: 2016 Pavement Maintenance Project The name and return address of the Vendor. Facsimile, email, or other electronic submissions will not be accepted. Failure to comply with any and all submittal requirements may be grounds to consider the Bid non-responsive and cause a Bid to be dropped from further consideration. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to waive any informalities or errors in the Notice to Bid process, for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of Bids. Where trade names, brand names, or manufacturers names are used in the Bid documents, it is for the purpose of establishing kind and quality and not for the purpose of limiting competition. Vendors may offer items or materials equal in quality and having the same durability and efficiency if the Vendor first receives written approval from the Owner prior to the date/time of the receipt of Bids and complying with requirements indicated in the specifications. The Vendor shall identify any such substitutions by name, kind, and/or type with their Bid. A Pre-Bid Meeting and Tour is scheduled for Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10:00 am local time, beginning at Entry 7, 310 Stadium Drive, Brownsburg, Indiana. Immediately following the Pre-Bid Meeting, an opportunity to tour the project site will be offered. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting may be required for a Bid to be considered responsive.
