NOTICE OF LAFAYETTE TOWNSHIP FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT RESOLUTION IMPLEMENTING FALSE ALARM FIRE FEES On September 26, 2019, the Lafayette Township Fire Protection District formally signed and adopted a Resolution for those residents located in Lafayette Township Fire District for purposes of implementation of a False Alarm Fire Fee. Please let it be known at a legally called meeting on August 22, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. the following Resolution was adopted and will be implemented commencing thirty (30) days after this publication: RESOLVED, that the Lafayette Township Fire Protection District, due to emergency response personnel being required to answer as to false alarms within the Fire District, and said District has continued to experience problems with false alarm calls within the Fire District; and it is the desire of the Lafayette Township Fire Protection District to adopt this Resolution in order to require registration and reasonable regulations regarding fire alarms within the Fire District in order to reduce the number of false alarm calls.
