Notice is hereby given that the River Ridge Development Authority ("OWNER") will receive sealed BIDS regarding the INTERNATIONAL DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE II at the OWNER'S office located at 6200 East Highway 62 Suite 600, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130 until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on May 17, 2016. No late BIDS will be accepted. BIDS received by the allotted time will be opened and read aloud publicly. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: New road and water main construction to support development of the River Ridge Commerce Center in Clark County, Indiana. COMPLETION DATE: International Drive Improvements - Phase II shall have an Intermediate Completion Date of October 31, 2016 and a Final Completion Date of November 30, 2016. BID PACKETS: A Bid Packet includes Construction Plans, Contract Documents, and a Bid Proposal package to be used for submitting BIDS. Copies of the Bid Packet may be obtained electronically through Don Meredith Reprographics Company, Inc. (http://www.dmcplanroom.com). BID GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Each Bid Proposal shall also require a statement to the effect that if the BIDDER is awarded the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price will be executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on forms incorporated in the Contract Documents, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. No BIDDER may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for opening BIDS. The OWNER reserves the right to retain any and all BIDS for a period of not more than 60 days, and said BIDS shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The OWNER further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any BIDDER to the advantage of the OWNER, or to reject all BIDS. hspaxlp
