NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Greater Clark County Schools that the Board of School Trustees will meet in the School Administration Building, 2112 Utica-Sellersburg Road, Jeffersonville, Indiana, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. (Local Time) on May 17, 2016, to consider the following additional appropriation which the Board of School Trustees considers necessary to meet the extraordinary situation existing at this time: An appropriation in the approximate amount of $14,195,000 on account of renovations and improvements at the following facilities (1) Bridgepoint Elementary, (2) Jonathan Jennings Elementary, (3) Northaven Elementary, (4) Parkwood Elementary, (5) Pleasant Ridge Elementary, (6) Utica Elementary, (7) Charlestown Middle, (8) Parkview Middle, (9) River Valley Middle, (10) Jeffersonville High, (11) Charlestown High, (12) New Washington Middle High Schools, and (13) Corden Porter The funds will be provided by an bond issue by the Greater Clark Building Corporation. The Greater Clark County Schools has preliminarily approved a second amendment to lease agreement to finance the projects. The foregoing appropriation is in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budget and tax levy, and a need for such appropriation exists by reason of the inadequacy of the present buildings to provide necessary school facilities in the school corporation. Taxpayers of said school corporation appearing at said meeting shall have the right to be heard in respect to said additional appropriation.
