NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF (I) PUBLIC HEARING ON ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND (II) DETERMINATION TO ISSUE BONDS Appropriation Hearing - Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of the Town of Whitestown, Indiana (the "Town"), that the Town Council of the Town (the "Town Council") will meet in the Town of Whitestown Municipal Complex - Public Hall 6210 S. 700 E. Whitestown, Indiana 46705, at 7:00 p.m. on May 11, 2016 to conduct a public hearing and consider the appropriation of the funds of the Town in an amount not to exceed $1,995,000 to be applied on the costs of certain public improvement projects in the Town including but not limited to certain street improvements, the purchase of certain vehicles for the Town and other related public improvement projects, and the incidental expenses in connection with these projects (collectively, the "Projects"). The funds to meet this appropriation are to be provided by the issuance and sale of bond anticipation notes, if necessary, and general obligation bonds of the Town. The foregoing appropriation is in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budgets and levies. Taxpayers of the Town appearing at the hearing shall have a right to be heard in respect of this additional appropriation. Determination to Issue Bonds - Taxpayers of the Town are hereby further notified that the Town has preliminarily determined to issue general obligation bonds in accordance with Indiana Code 36-5-2 in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $1,995,000 for the purpose of providing funds for undertaking the Projects.
