NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received by the Clarksville Redevelopment Commission until 2:00 P.M. Local Time on the 6th day of May, 2016 in the Executive Conference Room of the Clarksville Town Center, 2000 Broadway, Clarksville, Indiana 47129 for construction of the following project: JOB NO. 16-16, Clarksville Redevelopment Commission - Ashland Park Security Installation along Riverside Drive, which includes all items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project. The project includes but not limited to the following: A utility corridor being approximately 2,763 linear feet, which includes the installation of three (3) utility conduits and electric to the location of 6 concrete bases for security poles. The conduits shall be installed by means of open trench excavation and directional boring. At the hour of 2:00 P.M. Local Time on the 6th day of May, 2016, all bids for this construction will be publicly opened and read aloud. State Board of Accounts Form No. 96, which is included in Section 00410 - Bid Form, shall be fully completed and executed in the manner required by law. An executed State Board of Accounts Form 96a, or similar document, shall also be submitted. A bidder must file with its sealed bid proposal, a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The above check or bond is to insure the execution of the contract on which such bids are made. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish, before commencing work, a performance, maintenance and payment bond in an amount equal to the bid price of the contract awarded to said Contractor, and certificates of all insurance required by the specifications. Wage Rates on this project shall not be less than the wage schedule according to the Davis-Bacon Regulations including the Wage Decision HWY-IN-6. The Contractor shall be responsible for the correct/most current Wage Rates that are in effect the day of the Bid Opening. All sealed bids shall be turned in to the Redevelopment Department, Suite 208 at Clarksville Town Hall. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.
