City of Jeffersonville Jeffersonville, Indiana WOODLAND COURT STREAM CROSSING IMPROVEMENT AND STREAM RESTORATION PROJECT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Woodland Court Stream Crossing Improvement and Stream Restoration Project will be received by the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, at the office of City Engineer, 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130, until 3:00 PM local time on March 15, 2016, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the March 15, 2016 public meeting of the City of Jeffersonville Drainage Board, Council Chambers, 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana. The board meeting begins at 5:30 PM. The Project consists of constructing 1,400 LF of stream restoration including a bankfull channel, floodprone bench and in-stream structures, 293 LF of 12" sanitary sewer, and constructing a concrete bridge with 32-ft span over the Woodland Court Tributary. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must be qualified. Prospective bidders must meet requirements for natural channel construction and bridge construction experience as described in the bid documents. Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online by registering with the Issuing Office at https://www.lynnimaging.com/distribution/View/Login.aspx. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as "zipped" portable document format (PDF) files. The cost of printed Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office is $50.00. Cost of Bidding Documents and shipping is non-refundable. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM local time on March 1, 2016 at the rear parking lot of the Northside Church of Christ, 2510 E 10th Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
