Crites PO Box 144 West Middleton, IN 46995 and/or 2367 S 465 W West Middleton, IN 46995 RE: Property located at 2367 S 465 W, West Middleton, IN 46995 Notice Under IC 36-7-9-13.5(b) Attempts to contact you at your above addresses on record in the Auditor's Office have been unsuccessful. Therefore, please take notice of the following: Pursuant to Howard County Board of Commissioners (Board) Resolution 2016 BCCR-20 the Board ordered demolition of the structures located on the above-described property. The demolition costs incurred by the Board for this project were $7,300.00 paid to Rice Tree Co., Inc. The delinquent demolition costs have remained unpaid more than fifteen (15) days after completion of the demolition work. As you were advised in writing several times during the enforcement proceedings leading up to the demolition, the costs of demolition would become a lien and/or an assessment upon the property under IC 36-7-9-13 or IC 36-7-9-13.5. The Board has elected to proceed under the latter statute. Therefore, pursuant to IC 36-7-9-13.5(b), you are hereby notified that if the Board does not receive from you full payment of the $7,300.00 within thirty (30) days after the last publication of this notice, the Board intends to certify such amount to the Auditor as a special assessment upon the subject property.
