NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana that the proper legal officers of the Town at their regular meeting place at the Zionsville Town Hall, 1100 West Oak Street, Zionsville, Indiana, at 7:30 a.m. on the 28th of November, 2016, will consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year: Amount Approved Fund Name Budget Classification Amount by Fiscal Body General Fund Plan Commission Engineering $73,000.00 $73,000.00 (Fund #101) (Line item #101001312) Total General Fund $73,000.00 $73,000.00 Total Amount Appropriated - $73,000.00 Funds noted above are available for additional appropriation via an October 2016 balance in the General Fund of $1,931,220.75. The purpose of the additional appropriation is to reimburse the Plan Commission line item with pass-through funds received from developers for engineering work done on behalf of the Town/Planning & Economic Development Department. Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
