ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the River Ridge Development Authority (OWNER) will receive sealed BIDS regarding the RRCC GATEWAY UTILITY EXTENSIONS at the OWNER'S office located at 6200 East Highway 62 Suite 600, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130 until 2:00 p.m. (local time) on December 7, 2016. No late BIDS will be accepted. BIDS received by the allotted time will be opened and read aloud publicly. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Installation of new 12-inch water main and appurtenances (approx. 4,500 LF), a new 6-inch utility conduit (approx. 4,500 LF), and a new bank of three (3) 6-inch utility conduits (approx. 4,500 LF). COMPLETION DATE: RRCC Gateway Utility Extensions shall have a Substantial Completion date of May 15, 2017 and a Final Completion date of June 15, 2017. BID PACKETS: A Bid Packet includes Construction Plans, Contract Documents, and a Bid Proposal package to be used for submitting BIDS. Copies of the Bid Packet may be obtained at the office of United Consulting, located at 1625 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219 Telephone (317) 895-2585, upon a nonrefundable payment of $100.00 for each Bid Packet. BID GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Each Bid Proposal shall also require a statement to the effect that if the BIDDER is awarded the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price will be executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on forms incorporated in the Contract Documents, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. No BIDDER may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for opening BIDS. The OWNER reserves the right to retain any and all BIDS for a period of not more than 60 days, and said BIDS shall remain in full force and effect during said time.
