INVITATION TO BID Sealed quotations will be received by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Floyd, State of Indiana until 3:00 P.M., local time on Tuesday the 6th day of December 2016, in the Director of Operations Office, PineView Government Center, 2524 Corydon Pike Suite 202, New Albany, Indiana for Floyd County Road Department Purchases. The General Specifications are on file in the office of the Director of Operations Floyd County, Indiana. A certified check shall be required to be filed with each quotation, in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the quotation, however, a bond maybe be submitted in lieu of a certified check if the bond is secured by a surety having its principal place of business in the State of Indiana. A bond shall be required to be filed with each quotation of a person, form or corporation having its principal place of business in the State of Indiana, and shall make the bond payable to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Floyd, in a specific dollar sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the quotation. The quotations shall cover the calendar year 2017. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Floyd reserves the right to reject any and all quotations. Quotations mailed to the County Commissioners MUST be sent REGISTERED or CERTIFIED MAIL or they may be brought to the Director Of Operations Office, PineView Government Center, 2524 Corydon Pike Suite 202, New Albany, IN 47150, on or before the time set above. Quotations will be opened and publicly read aloud at the Commissioner's Meeting on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioner's Assembly Room, Level 1, PineView Government Center, New Albany, IN 47150.
