ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the River Ridge Development Authority (OWNER) will receive sealed BIDS regarding the Gateway Lift Station at the OWNER'S office located at 6200 East Highway 62 Suite 600, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130 until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on December 7, 2016. No late BIDS will be accepted. BIDS received by the allotted time will be opened and read aloud publicly. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project consists of the furnishing and installing of a new pump station, construction of approximately 3,700' of parallel 12 & 18 force mains, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project. COMPLETION DATE: Substantial Completion - July 14, 2017 Final Completion - August 14, 2017 BID PACKETS: A Bid Packet includes Construction Plans, Contract Documents, and a Bid Proposal package to be used for submitting BIDS. Copies of the Bid Packet may be obtained for bidding purposes at the office of Jacobi, Toombs and Lanz, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 1829 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana, by payment of a non-refundable plan fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for each set of bid documents. Checks for the plan fee shall be made out to Jacobi, Toombs and Lanz, Inc. BID GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Each Bid Proposal shall also require a statement to the effect that if the BIDDER is awarded the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price will be executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on forms incorporated in the Contract Documents, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. The OWNER reserves the right to retain any and all BIDS for a period of not more than 60 days, and said BIDS shall remain in full force and effect during said time.
