NOTICE TO BID FOR MATERIALS & SUPPLIES FOR COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT YEAR 2017 Notice is hereby given by the Board of Commissioners of Howard County, Indiana that it will receive sealed proposals at the office of the Auditor of Howard County, 222 N. Main, Room 222, Administration Center, Kokomo, Indiana until the hour of 3:00 P.M., E.S.T. ON NOVEMBER 21, 2016 to furnish the various items as requisitioned by the Howard County Engineer for the year 2017. Materials will be used for the General Maintenance and Local Road and Street Projects. Bids to be opened commencing at 4:15 P.M., E.S.T. on NOVEMBER 21, 2016. Any questions concerning such bid proposals should be directed to the Howard County Engineer, Ted L. Cain, 625 South Berkley Road, Kokomo, IN. 46901, or Phone (765) 456-2802. Specifications and bid packages may be obtained from the Howard County Engineer at the above location, and also at the office of the Howard County Auditor and should be received in the office of the Howard County Auditor, 222 North Main, Room 222, Howard County Administration Center, Kokomo, Indiana, 46901, no later than 3:00 P.M. Monday NOVEMBER 21, 2016. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to hold all bids under advisement for a period of up to sixty (60) days, to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure, and reject any and all bids.
