PUBLIC NOTICE The Daviess County Board of Aviation Commissioners proposes to construct a 201-foot extension to the north end of Runway 18/36 and parallel taxiway at the Daviess County Airport. The proposed project will extend Runway 18/36 and the parallel taxiway to 5,001-feet in length maintaining the current 75-feet width and will require rerouting County Road East 350 North approximately 1,200-feet farther north in the area of the runway and taxiway extension. The Draft Environmental Assessment document for the proposed project is available for public review and comment. The draft summarizes the anticipated environmental impacts of the proposed project and states that the proposed project is not anticipated to impact any wetland and will require a Construction in a Floodway permit for crossing a tributary of Prairie Creek. The draft is available for review during normal business hours for at least 30 days following publication of this Notice at the following locations: Daviess County Airport, Airport Administration Building, 2338 Sugarland Road, Washington, Indiana, 47501 and the office of Woolpert, Inc., 7635 Interactive Way, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278.
