NOTICE The City of Rushville Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a special meeting for a public hearing to consider the following petitions for variances from the City of Rushville Zoning Ordinance. BZA2016-021- BZA2016-029: the applicant, SIHCDC Holdings, LLC, is seeking development standards variances from the following: BZA2016-021- from the required number of off-street parking spaces per Article VIII, Section D of the Rushville Zoning Ordinance; BZA2016-022 - from the requirement that off-street parking be located on the same lot as the multi-family dwelling per Article VIII,C2a; BZA2016-023 - from the requirement that parking facilities be setback 20 ft. from the property line per Article VIII, C2c; BZA2016-024 - from the required number of parking lot curb traffic islands per Article VIII C4g; BZA2016-025 - from the required 1 tree for every 400 s.f. of vehicular use per Article IX, B2c; BZA2016-026 - from the requirement that parking lot access be a minimum of 70 ft. from the centerline of the closest intersection per Article VIII, C3a; BZA2016-027 - from the requirement for shrubbery to be installed between the right-of-way and parking per Article IX, B2f; BZA2016-028 - from the requirement that plants be installed 3 ft. from any parking area per Article IX, B2g; and BZA2016-029 - from the requirement that parking lot drive aisles be a minimum of 24 ft. per Article VIII, C4j. The properties are located at 129 W. 2nd Street, 131-141 W. 2nd Street, 201 W. 2nd Street, and 133 W. First Street, Rushville, Indiana and are zoned CBD, Central Business District. The public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers, 270 W. 15th Street, on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 7:00 PM and is open to the public. You may inspect the file and the legal description of the property in the City of Rushville-Rush County Planning and Zoning Office prior to the hearing. Written objections filed with the Planning and Zoning Office prior to the hearing will be considered, and oral comments concerning the proposal will be heard. The hearing may be continued as may be found necessary.
