Public Notice of Construction Activity As required by 327-IAC-5-6-5(Rule 5), the Indiana Department of Transportation hereby gives notice of future construction activity falling under the NPDES storm water general permit rule covering construction 327-IAC 15-5. The project is part of 80/90 PUSH (Pavement Upgrade for a Superior Highway) on Interstate 80/90 Indiana Toll Road from just west of IN-51 to just CR 11 stretching from mile markers 20.0 to 93.0. Construction is expected to begin in January 2016 and be completed by December 2017. Received waters are Burns Ditch, Salt Creek, Christiana Creek, and St. Joseph River. Contract 16-0001. The ITR Concession Company LLC (52551 Ash Road, Granger, IN 46530) is submitting a Notice of Intent to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management of our intent to comply with the requirements of 327 IAC 15-5 to discharge storm water from construction activities associated with 80/90 PUSH, Contract 16-0001 in Elkhart, Lake, LaPorte, Porte, and St. Joseph Counties. The project will rehabilitate the pavement and bridges on I-80/90 from just West of IN-51 to CR 11 stretching from mile markers 20.0 to 93.0. Receiving waters along the project site are Burns Ditch, Salt Creek, Christina Creek, and St. Joseph River. Construction activity is anticipated to begin in April 2016 and be completed in December 2017.
