NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana that the proper legal officers of the Town at their regular meeting place at the Zionsville Town Hall, 1100 West Oak Street, Zionsville, Indiana, at 7:00 p.m. on the Third of October, 2016, will consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year: Fund Name Budget Classification Amount Amount Approved by Fiscal Body LOIT Special Distribution Crossings Grant Fund (Fund #257) Construction Match $100,000.00 $100,000.00 (Line item #257001364) Total LOIT Special Distribution Fund $100,000.00 $100,000.00 Total Amount Appropriated - $100,000.00 Funds noted above are available for additional appropriation via an August 2016 balance in the LOIT Special Distribution Fund of $2,651,948.13. The purpose of the additional appropriation is to use LOIT Special Distribution Fund money to prepare to pay our matching grant portion of street projects funded by the Community Crossings Grant. Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local government Finance (DLGF). The DGLF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
