TOWN OF UTICA INDIANA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Council of Utica, Indiana with conduct a Public Hearing on October 18, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Utica Town Hall pursuant to I.C. 36-4-3-2.1, and related laws concerning the proposed annexation of previously unincorporated territory in Clark County, Indiana. The said proposed annexation has been the subject of six (6) public Outreach and information meetings heretofore in 2016. The maps and Fiscal Plan concerning the proposed annexation have been, and will continue to be, available at the Town Hall through the date and time of the Public Hearing stated above. Persons may inspect these items at the Utica Town Hall during regular business hours. The Town of Utica will provide a copy of the Fiscal Plan, after it is adopted and established, to landowners in the proposed annexed territory and to members of the public who request a copy. The real property subject to the proposed annexation is/will be classified for zoning, as within the R-1, R-2, Old Salem Road corridor, Utica-Charlestown Road corridor (in Utica) and are currently classified A-1 and R-2 (in county). A legal description of the land to be annexed is available at the Town Hall and will be included in a certified mailing to property owners of land in the proposed annexation area. The name and phone number of persons to be contacted as representatives of the Town concerning this annexation are Town Council President, Steve Long (502-767-4297) or Council Attorney, Daniel E. Moore (812-284-4662). All interested parties and persons will have an opportunity to testify and to be heard at the Public Hearing of October 18, 2016, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Utica Town Hall.
