You are receiving this notice because your name appears on the list of stockholders who hold Equity Credits with Co-Operative Elevator Company of Francesville. The Co-Op ceased doing business on September 1, 2012 when it sold most of its assets to Tate & Lyle Grain, Inc. They purchased the grain elevator business and Monticello Farm Service, Inc., purchased the fertilizer business.
The Board has been in the process of liquidating all of the balance of assets and clearing up debt. That process is now complete and we are preparing to begin distribution to the shareholders.
We are asking each shareholder to contact us (by mail only), at P.O. Box 338, Francesville, Indiana 47946, as we no longer have a phone number. Please send photocopies of your stock certificates. These shares of stock were converted by the Board to Equity Credits many years ago.
If the shares were owned by a party who has since passed away, please provide a copy of the Certificate of Death, and who the Executor, Trustee or heirs are. If the shares were held by a family corporation, partnership or LLC, please include a statement as to whether that business is still operating or has been dissolved, and who the stockholders and members are.
