Plaintiff also filed an Affidavit of a competent person showing that the residence and whereabouts of Defendant Unknown Heirs at Law of Wallace E. Jeffries, upon diligent inquiry are unknown. The cause of action is for default on a promissory note and foreclosure upon a mortgage on the following descried real estate: SITUATED IN GRANT NO. 21 OF THE ILLINOIS GRANT, CLARK COUNTY, INDIANA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE REFERENCED NORTHERLY CORNER OF SAID GRANT NO. 21; THENCE WITH THE LINE DIVIDING SAID GRANT NO. 21 AND GRANT NO. 22, S 38 DEG. 26' 23" E 2238.7' TO ORIGINAL NORTHERLY CORNER OF THE 5.66 ACRE TRACT OF LAND NOW OR FORMERLY OWNED BY ALVIN JEFFRIES AS RECORDED IN DEED RECORD 149 PAGE 196 AND THE EASTERLY CORNER OF THE 3.34 ACRE TRACT OF LAND NOW OR FORMERLY OWNED BY HOWARD AND WALTER ALEXANDER AS RECORDED IN DEED DRAWER 11 INST. 10144; THENCE LEAVING SAID GRANT LINE WITH THE LINE DIVIDING SAID JEFFRIES AND SAID ALEXANDER S 51 DEG. 22'00" W 192.40 TO A POINT, SAID POINT BEING THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE LEAVING SAID ALEXANDER AND SERVING SAID JEFFRIES AS FOLLOWS: S 37 DEG. 22' 35" E PASSING THE CENTERLINE OF AN INGRESS AND EGRESS ROAD AT 171.52' AND A TOTAL OF 181.86' TO A STEEL PIN SET; THENCE N 37 DEG. 22' 35" W 181.86' TO A STEEL PIN SET IN THE LINE DIVIDING SAID JEFFRIES AND SAID ALEXANDER; THENCE WITH SAID DIVIDING LINE N 51 DEG. 22' 00" E 110.00' TO A POINT, THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 20,000 SQUARE FEET OR 0.4591 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
