ADVERTISEMENT for BIDS NOTICE is hereby given by the Cass County Commissioners, Cass County, Indiana, that sealed Bids for: Cass County Mechanical Controls Consolidation will be received by the Cass County Building Superintendent at its office in Room 304, Cass County Government Building, 200 Court Park, Logansport, Indiana until 1:00 pm local time, on June 6, 2016. Bids submitted shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the Cass County Commissioners meeting immediately following. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials, etc. for the complete performance in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by Design Collaborative Architects and Engineers, Fort Wayne, Indiana. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to Cass County, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with Cass County; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the Cass County, Indiana. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday May 31, 2016 at 10:00 AM local time at the Cass County Government Building Room #200 to familiarize prospective bidders with the proposed project and to answer any questions. Bidders must obtain a copy of said Bidding Documents from Eastern Engineering, 1239 N. Wells St, Fort Wayne, Indiana; phone 260-426-3119, pursuant to submitting their bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Cass County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders.
