Notice of Opportunity to Hold a Public Hearing RE: Southern Indiana Development Commission dba Ride Solution Public Transit for operating year 2017, is requesting to purchase three replacement low-floor mini-vans. 1. Notice is hereby given that, SIDC/Ride Solution will provide an opportunity for a public hearing for the purpose of considering a grant for which federal capital assistance under Section 5339 of the Federal Transit Act, as amended, is being sought. The hearing will be held if any person interested in a hearing submits a request in writing that a hearing be held by SIDC/Ride Solution within a ten (10) day period, after the publication of this notice. The project is generally described as follows: A. Operating year 2017, Capital budget purchase for 5339 vehicles for operation in SIDC/Ride Solution fleet in their service area. Purchase three (3) replacement vehicles = $106,500.00. Federal amount requested is $85,200.00 Local match amount of $21,300.00, source of local match is Four Rivers Resource Services, Incorporated, Linton, Indiana, 47441 and local grant funding. 2. If a hearing is requested and scheduled, SIDC/Ride Solution will afford an opportunity for interested persons, agencies, and private transportation providers to be heard with respect to the social, environmental, and economic aspects of the grant. Interested persons may submit orally or in writing evidence and recommendations with respect to said grant at the public hearing. 3.
