NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS AFFECTED OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO DECLARATORY RESOLUTION NO. 98-1, AS SUPPLEMENTED AND AMENDED TO DATE AND THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE 96TH STREET ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENT Taxpayers of the Boone County ("County") Redevelopment District ("District") and all other persons affected hereby are notified that the Boone County Redevelopment Commission ("Commission"), did on November 2, 1998, adopt Declaratory Resolution No. 98-1, as supplemented and amended to date (collectively, as supplemented and amended to date, "Declaratory Resolution"), establishing the 96th Street Economic Development Area ("Area") and approving the Economic Development Plan, as amended ("Plan") for the Area. On April 15, 2016, the Commission adopted its Amending Declaratory Resolution ("Amending Declaratory Resolution") amending the Plan to add the property set forth on Exhibit A to the Amending Declaratory Resolution to the acquisition list and to add the 2016 projects described on Exhibit B to the Amending Declaratory Resolution, together with all necessary appurtenances and related improvements and equipment. The Amending Declaratory Resolution, the Plan, as amended, and supporting data including maps and plats describing the Area, have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the Auditor, in Boone County, Indiana. Notice is further given that the Commission on May 20, 2016, at the hour of 2:00 p.m., local time, at the Connie Lamar Meeting Room of the Boone County Annex Building, 116 West Washington Street, Room #105, Lebanon, IN 46052, will receive and hear remonstrances from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the amendment to the Amending Declaratory Resolution and Plan, as amended. At the time fixed for hearing or at any time prior thereto any person interested in the proceedings may file a written remonstrance with the Secretary of the Commission. At such hearing, which may be adjourned from time to time, the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and all remonstrances that have been filed. After considering this evidence, the Commission will take final action by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Amending Declaratory Resolution.
