REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ADVERTISEMENT TOWN OF PLAINFIELD "GUARANTEED SAVINGS CONTRACT" Sealed responses will be received by the Town of Plainfield, Owner, at Plainfield Municipal Building, 206 West Main Street, Plainfield, Indiana 46168, until 2:00 p.m. (local time), on June 6, 2016. Responses received later than the above time may not be considered. The responses shall conform to IC 36-1-12.5 and the Aquatic Center RFP Guideline. The Owner's objective in issuing the RFP is to provide a means by which to select a single Guaranteed Savings Contract Provider to perform improvements to its Aquatic Center, the initial phase of which will increase the R-Value of the facility's roof in conjunction with the roof replacement over the indoor pool. The noted selection of the Provider by the Owner may apply to both the initial phase and future phases of the project at the sole discretion of the Owner. The improvements will be funded by the Town and provisions of IC 36-1-12.5-7 relative to third party financing will not be utilized. Copies of the Aquatic Center RFP Guideline may be obtained at the office of the Engineer, Butler, Fairman and Seufert, Inc. by remitting Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each set. Copies of the guideline are available for examining at the Town of Plainfield and the office of the Engineer. The remittance is not refundable. Payment shall be by money order or check and shall be made payable to Butler, Fairman and Seufert, Inc., 8450 Westfield Boulevard, Suite 300, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46240. A Mandatory Pre-Response Meeting will be conducted by the Engineer on May 17, 2016 at the Aquatic Center located at 651 Vestal Road, Plainfield, IN 46168 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time. Questions and comments shall be directed to David Lahey or John Lightner of Butler Fairman & Seufert at (317) 713-4615. Contact by a potential Provider with the Owner or anyone associated with the Owner other than the Engineer may result in disqualification of the Provider. RFP responses may be reviewed to determine completeness prior to further evaluation. Owner may request an oral interview from one or more potential Providers to address specific issues. The interview will allow the potential Providers under consideration to clarify the specific points of their response to the RFP. Owner may provide notice to one or more potential Providers to submit a detailed price proposal. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all RFP responses and to be the sole judge of the value and merit of the RFP responses offered.
